I am new to the list and I like it. I have three rides, two of which fit in the requirements of being classic. My pride and joy is an early 80's Raleigh Competition Gran Sport with all original equipment; campy 5 speed cassette, down tube shifters w weinmann 605 side pull brakes, brooks saddle and made in Nottingham, England. Its black and the lugs are highlighted in gold. My other classic is an Atala Grand Prix with campy cotterless cranks and 5 speed cassette, down tube shifters w weinmann center pull brakes from the mid 70's. Lastly my current ride although not classic by your definiton is a Bianchi tsx lugged steel frame from 1996 with chorus 8 speed cassette, mavic open pros, speedplay ti, and flite ti saddle. This bike says construita nel reparto corse on it which translates roughly to made in racing department. Regards, Burl --sunny and 70 degrees in L.A.
