It would also be useful to pin down what label colors were used when, and on what models. I'm still a bit confused over the old "blue/green" Fiamme label. That dates to the 1950's? And early 1960s? And did this color get used on a specific rim model, as the red and yellow labels were?

Does anyone know (more or less) what the transition dates are for the Fiamme logo on the rims? I've now seen 4 versions of the logo. I think the order of appearance is:

1. Football (pointed) shape with the winged horse 2. Oval with the armour helmet 3. FIAMME in a rectangle all capital letters 4. Fiamme still in a rectangle but with the top line of the F running above all the other letters.

Anyone care to correct me and/or fill in some years to this little timeline?

Many thanks,
