Since I get the list in digest mode, here on two recent topics:

1. Head angles to match slack seat angles. First: Head and seat angles are totally independent of each other. Many very nice-riding Singers have a 72-73 degree head angle - see http://www.mindspring.com/~heine/bikesite/bikesite/samples.html

2. Bar-con cable housing: Spence Wolf in 1965 used the unwrapped steel coiled stuff on a Cinelli Supercorsa. Campy bar-cons operating a steel Record rear.
