I composed a great, long email, and then messed-up and deleted it. It's not recoverable because I'm using an internet site that allows me to read emails from home, at work- when the email is gone, it's gone. So, I will try to say it all again-
I think everyone is putting the cart before the horse- we're not taking nominations yet! There will be plenty of time to recognize someone, let's PLAN that recognition now. We need solid criteria so that we know what we're voting on, as well as a name for the award- there are some suggestions for the name, keep them coming!
I am willing to coordinate the purchase of a plaque if someone out there will design one, or give ideas toward a design. I also can collect the monetary contributions- any funds collected over and above those needed for the plaque can go towards treats for Le Cirque attendees, and/or to help defray costs associated with the whole event, or? ---Ideas please.
When the time is right, someone off-list can take the nominations, and talley the votes. (Nominations off-list?)
