Those things are still hanging around, and I mean that in the most literal sense. When Gus Betat went out of business they sold the remaining Viner stock to lots of other shops. Bicycle Michael's in the French Quarter (actually Faubourg Marigny) has half a dozen NOS Viners hanging from the rafters mostly in larger sizes. An employee of Bayou Bicycles recently scored a Viner Pista frame (@ 57 cm), and there a dozens more to be seen on the streets everyday.

Sadly, Betat's is long gone.
