They are also now being made under contract in Amsterdam by Brunco(sp?) I think. I popped in last time I was over and chexcked them out. I WILL own one of these as a fixed-gear someday. I worked on one years ago and I think the test ride lasted about an hour, sometimes you have to make sure the bikes is "just right." Happy multi-denominational holiday of your choice, Brandon"monkeyman"Ives Thankful that he brought his fenders from Eugene to Santa Barbara, Calif.

In the twenties they held numerous striking records in England often beating the previously held records by 10 or 15%! (These were mostly distance point to point and 12 & 24 hour time trials, which were near fanatical passions in England at the time) But, not being well marketed, thereafter fell into almost complete obscurity for 50 years.

While the one I saw (and now sell) was a reproduction and available for sale they were so hard to get I couldn't get one till recently. ( I had even drawn plans to build one 15 years ago, but never got the chance.) Now I am privileged to ride and offer them. There are only two people in the country committed to making them available in the US and I am one of them. (The other person showed his Pedersen bikes at the VR.)

They are particularly thrilling for those who, for one physical reason or another, are having difficulty sitting in conventional racing trim. (Ken Wallace, are you there?) I have sold recumbents for nearly 20 years and I like these better! The most comfortable upright made, hands down. Anyone interested please feel free to ask me more.

While not stated in the literature, (and I don't have one in my hand) I would say the balance of the hardware is steel and not Ti. At a claimed weight of 90g per caliper they are impressive! Complete set with levers and cables are $225. Hope this helps.
