Charles -

The very fortunate (and very astute) buyer is none other than list member Steven Massland, so I'm sure he has some ideas on how he'll manage to get it here. I, and probably others on the list, would be interested in hearing how the transaction plays out, and would also love to see some detailed pics once Steven has the bike in hand.

Agh!!! I'd have gone to the mat for that one--I know Chuck, I, and Matt (and who knows who else) would have all been duking it out for that bike, had we known about it.

Which brings up a question: is there any way to search ebay globally, looking at *all* entries for a given word-search, even if they're not in just one country? I've missed a few choice bits because I didn't know they were listed on other local/national sites.

And a further question: I'm wondering if the buyer is in the United States and is having to convince the seller to ship it to him...anybody have any ideas about how hard it would have been to convince the seller to ship to the US, for instance? That's probably why the final price was so low..no international shipping.
