Hi all, I have just received this bike. Built by George Longstaff in 1982
using Columbus aero tubing. It was before he went solo, he was building
about 5 frames a week for Roy Swinnerton's in Stoke on Trent. The equipment
on it is a mix of stuff. What I need to know is what aero bits were
available circa 1982 -3.? Or were these early frames just kitted out with
what was available at the time while the equipment manufacturers were
catching up?
If any list members have a particular interest in this era please contact
me.
There is another aero bike near here built by Aende. Does anyone have any
info on them?
