Christmas morning it was finally time to assemble the 1949 Bianchi I bought last April from the original owner in Forli, Italy. Campagnolo Cambio Corsa derailleur and 3-piece hubs, Universal "Mignon" calipers and "39" levers (thanks John and Scott!), plenty of chrome parts, obligatory cottered crankset, and the original chrome-n-celeste fenders.

Rides like a dream, shifts like a, errr. . . it shifts, that's all I ask.

Also got a knit wool scarf in Ross (Hunting) tartan... mostly green, ideal for wearing while riding an old Bianchi around the neighborhood on a cold winter's night :-)
