To fund some new purchases, I am looking to sell one of my Campagnolo Corsa equipped bicycles. It is a Ciclo Piave from the early 50's. You can see some photos of it on the campyonly site at http://www.campyonly.com/retrobikes/2002/ciclo_piave.html I can also provide extra photos of any detail that you might want. I will accept $1500 for it from list members, I'll look after the boxing but shipping is extra.

The bike is a 56,5 cm (C/C) frame height by 56,5 cm (C/C) top tube. The bike has been repainted and does not have all original parts but in my opinion is nonetheless better than any of the recently-sold corsa-equipped ebay bikes that have all sold for at least $1500, irregardless of the condition. Has very nice head lugs and fork crown, original branded Ciclo Piave headset, chainset with alloy Magistroni chainring, Campagnolo-branded (not FB) 3-piece hubs, Universal brakes... all in great condition.

Apart from the period-incorrect parts (80's Selle Royal Contour SL saddle, 70's 3TTT seatpost, 70's Everest freewheel, 80's Christophe toe clips, 60's Universal front bake caliper, 60's 3TTT bars, 60's 3TTT stem and 60's Universal brake levers that I can tell) the sole faults that I can find are: scratches and minor dent on the right fork blade where a generator light was mounted and grounded and a dent in the seat tube just above the BB shell. None of these 'defects' influence the ride.
