I wanted to ask what type of cable housing was used with bar-end shifters for a 60's era bike? I have a large coil of Campagnolo stainless steel derailleur cable housing, maybe 12 foot in length, that I guess may have been used for this purpose. It's the same as the housing used with the rear derailleur from the chainstay stop to the derailleur...no plastic liner or cover. After looking at many photos I still am not able to tell. Some use what appears to be brake cable housing and others use something very similar to the housing I have. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
