Hi I have a couple of bikes that I would be interested in knowing anything about: year of manufacture, etc?

First is a Carlton with "Capella" style lugs. Serial # is G2946 on the left rear dropout. No RD hanger on this frame, almost no braze-ons. Photo's are available here for both bikes, both before and after refinishing(it is amazing what Rustoleum cans can do! That is even the same crankset, with no replating). http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/neill1234/lst?&.dir=/General+pictures&.src=ph&.view=t&.last=1

Second is a Peugeot. This has a RD hanger, but it has two stops brazed onto the chainstay for RD cables.........that means it was designed in the era when RD's had a double cable actuation, right? Serial # is 240280 stamped into the BB shell. Again, photo's og before and after are here: http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/neill1234/lst?&.dir=/General+pictures&.src=ph&.view=t&.last=1

Any insights are much appreciated. Thanks
