I think that both low and high end Bottechias from the 70's had chrome plated frames under the paint, with stays and fork ends chrome and headbadges that were attached with rivets. Not exactly sure why I think it might be that old, perhaps the lack of braze-ons. This frame has no holes in the headtube. Frame alone weighs 5 pounds.
