I have a Verona-built Masi GC (Samontana) with "6 73" on steerer.

Revision: A = ? AV = ? B = Bergamo C = ? M = Milano P = ? V = Verona

Aldo offered the following: AV = Alagna Valsesia? It's about 75 miles wwnw of Milano. The road leads up to AV, then stops, nothing but moutains and Switzerland after that. It's the only place I could find inititialed "A.V."
