Recent remarks on the Cinelli SC with its (apparently) half painted half chromed seat lug brought to mind my Atala. It is a 1962 Atala Professional and has a half-chromed half painted seat lug. I gather this is somewhat unusual. I have also heard a rumor that the Atala Professionals of this era were not Atala-made, but were contracted out. I suspect that anything that came "standard" with Campy Record in 1962 (at least as much Record as there was in 1962) was an exceptional bike.
