Yes, this frame was brought to cycLArt for evaluation and it is definitely NOT Mario's work. One of at least fakes I've seen. I've got close-up photos of this frame side by side with the real thing at shop, I'll post them tomorrow. Why indeed?

The owner does know it's not real, but the content of his add is correct.

I declined to offer to sell this bike, but am please to see the owner is not misrepresenting it.
