I, too, am the proud owner of a Super Tourer. Or at least all of the pieces of one are hanging on my workshop wall waiting for the spit and polish treatment.
In my humble opinion this is a very nice bike. It is a Carlton version of the Raleigh roadster; laid back angles, upright bars, and a B.66. But everything is very sophisticated for the time (around 1977).
The frame and fork are all 531. Huret Jubilee deraillers, Mailliard 700 hubs, and a Stronglight 93 triple (with the outer ring in a un-toothed chainguard configuration - CPSC appeasement?) are some of the components.
The paint on mine is in pretty nice shape. I need to find some deraillers and skewers and it will be a nice city bike. Classy and unique.
