Something I'd like to know regarding parts size
standards: When (to the decade i.e. 30's, 40's, etc.)
were the currently-used standards established. I have
a recently acquired 1940's Italian bike called an
"Amerio" which uses a 22.0 mm ID steerer and has
English BB threads--go figure!

\r?\n> No, that means 1 millimeter per thread, equivalent
\r?\n> to 25.4 TPI
\r?\n>
\r?\n> (metric threads are designated in mm per thread; the
\r?\n> inverse of the
\r?\n> English threads per inch approach.)
