Hi again CR folks,

How about something really rare for sale - a pair of old NOS Vittora CX tires that have the green and white panels - not sure when they are from but they are old Italian from a number of geberations back. Also there is a label that is very fadded on each that faintly says DeRosa - very cool. I'd say these are amazing for a DeRosa restoration. My guess is late 70's on the tires but I don't know. They are in great shape for being so old - sidewalls still seem very nice and they appear to have been stored extremely well. Pumped them up a bit the other day and they seem to hold air just fine. As with any old tubulars, if you really ride them use extreme caution as nice looking sidewalls may still be more likely to fail than on newer tires. And all the usual concerns with using tubulars till apply.

These tires are so sweet that I'd save them for one of my late 70's projects, but I don't have a DeRosa so they should be passed on to someone who really needs them. This is the ultimate finishing touch for many a restoration.

Priced fairly at $195 plus $ 5 shipping in US for a total of $ 200 in the states. You won't be dissapointed, and if for some reason you are I offer a money back guarantee.

These are remaining invenotry items being sold through the Old Bicycle Classics inc. in Boulder CO
