Yes, sorry, I was just kidding about keeping your Simplex pure.

I used Bullseyes back in the day, and I thought they wore out faster than plastic ones. They were definitely noisier (by a lot), and I'm pretty sure they are heavier too, so don't get 'em if you're a weight weenie.

Suntour made nice sealed-bearing plastic pulleys that spin as smooth as Bullseyes, weigh less, cost less, last longer and are quieter, and have a 6mm hole, so if you can find a pair of them by all means grab 'em
