I did not attend Cirque. I have never met Dale. I only know a few of you personally. Still I have an overwhelming feeling that I am a member of a community. It is a very good feeling. This year's Cirque was a euphoric event. A celebration of our togetherness. I was overwhelmed with the emotion of it and I wasn't even there.
The news that this man took his own life, virtually in the midst of these festivities, is startling. I feel guilty that our togetherness was the thing that cemented his aloneness...
Dale; you were heroic to keep this news to yourself until the weekend was over... My condolences to everyone.
