Hardly an "old adage"! It's printed right in their catalog! I think in number 17 at least? And it doesn't say "Lifetime Warranty by Campagnolo USA" but just "Campagnolo"... I know the reply they give nowadays is that "Oh, that was only our distributor giving that warranty and now they are out of business"... Bah! Welching on the deal if you ask me!! :)
