Subject: [CR]campagnolo catalog question

Hi List members,

Sorry, we're back to this timeline stuff again...

I borrowed a copy n. 18, that has a glossy white cover, and blue printing, and it has a printing date of 12/86 in the back. According to the "official reference" timeline often quoted at CR, catalogue n 18 came out in 1984, so the printing date of 12/86 on the copy I have makes it a later printing, I suppose. As e-RITCHIE pointed out before, all the drawings in the parts sections of the NR/SR parts are all very early examples, i.e.: brakes have flat q/r, nutted mounting bolts, no plastic wheel guides, hoods have globe logo etc. The photos of the groups look updated, but some details can't be made out in those pictures. Some photos are very "cut and paste" looking, with odd outline shadows. The photos of actual cranks have the 'brev.' chainrings and crank bolt dust caps, but the drawings have the 'patent' versions.

Question: When did 'patent' switch to 'brev' ?

thanks
