By the way, here are two items, pertaining to the 980 FD, that I find interesting: 1) The box actually says "Deragliatore 980", although the box for the RD says "Cambio 980" just as you would expect. 2) The 980 FD looks _exactly_ like the contemporaneous Galli front mechanism.
