Subject: [CR]BVVW Meeting
Date: Wed, 1 Jan 2003 14:35:01 -0500

Well Boys and Girls, I could bearly give any shorter notice, but due to popular demand, a meeting of The Brooklyn Velodrome Vintage Wheelmen (BVVW) will take place on Thursday January 2, 2003. Meet at: Emey"s Bike shop 141 East 17th St.(Off 3rd Ave.) Time: get there between 5 to 6pm.

We will hang there till@ 6:30pm and then walk over to the old Village Voice building at 36 Cooper Sq. (5th-6th St.). 7th floor apt of member Michael lebron. As michael is still recovering from his New Years Mega Blast, 7pm is expected arrival time.

Allen Bernstein will be providing, for our viewing pleasure, the video "The Fausto Coppi Story; Il Vero Fausto". Running time @ 2 hours.

(Dave Perry is still trying to go through the 10 odd cassettes with the fallen off labels to find the RAI Coppi program. Hopefully Dave will have them sorted out by the April meeting when The Omnipotent Despot returns from his SoCal winter hiatus.)

Pizza will be ordered and delivered. Not by Fausto himself.

ATTENTION: BYOB!!!! Bring your own beer.

Out by @ 10:00 pm for the benefit of all the next day go to work crowd (and Michael's marriage). The chronically unemployed/ retired will seek shelter in some local diner/Starbucks for post beer/pizza caffeine.
