Back in the late 1970s, a bunch of shop guys at the Cardinal Bike Shop in Roanoke, Va. routinely traveled an hour or so to participate in my club's century rides (We are sorta famous for putting on all kinds of events) Two or three of those riders had new Paramounts that they had applied Varsity decal sets on! What great fun they had watching people do double takes!
