I've recently purchased an old Raleigh with a superb original paint job that stayed that way because the original owner rarely used it. I have a couple of others that show their years and miles in the form of marred decals and surface rust that has manged to creep into little spaces. I plan on riding this new acquisition regularly so besides cleaning and waxing is there anything else that can be done (clear coats etc.) to give the finish and decals a good chance of surviving another 30 years?
