Or maybe this is a modified DeRosa. Take any one of the images and Photoshop out the additional buttressing tubes. Does it look more like a DR then? I would be less surprised to hear that it came by it's stay caps and fork crowns honestly and that someone who owned it thought perhaps it was too flexible and had reinforcing added, creating the shape we see and requiring the repaint.

Until seeing the close-ups of the stay caps and the fork crown I'd have wagered it wasn't a DR, but now.... who knows? Too bad those close-ups weren't there originally, might have averted all the shenanigans.
