The 'original' Campy bar end shifters seem to be about the same quality as the Simplex - very basic and far from what I'd consider smooth at their best. The newer one with synchro works batter, is much bulkier, and can be run clickless(smooth) I saved a few sets of the originals for nostalgia, but the Campy shifter still missing from the museum is the 'Elefante'
