I have some Testor's paint I'd like to use to touch up some bad paint scars on my De Rosa. Sorry if I've missed it, but, how should I clean the metal and surrounding paint before I apply it? The paint is in a pen applicator, FWIW.

I'll probably have a full repaint done in a couple years, this is just to cover up the metal and look half-way decent until then.
