Part of me wants to say:

The maxim "function over form" is worth keeping in mind, even when in the grip of nostalgia.

Those are some ugly graphics, and the bike's too small (see, I'm a bigot too) but otherwise that's a nice bike. And our collective racing heroes (Coppi, Anquetil, Merckx) would have been very happy to have that secret weapon on which to ride, in their day. Things change, bikes change, and the industrial revolution continues to revolve, more slowly each year.

...and the other part wants to say:

Yeah, that is a shame. That bike probably won't last long enough to be a classic;, because it will come unglued and the carbon fiber bits will succomb to UV radiation before long. It was probably made by a machine and the hand of the artist is nowhere to be seen. It is so ugly that someone at Masi or its holding company should be taken out and... well not shot, but at least humilated.
