Subject: [CR]FS: MASI Milano 3V Complete Bike

Hello CR, I am selling my Masi Milano Model 314 3V bicycle with Campagnolo components. I believe it falls just within our timeframe, but if not, I beg Dale's and the list's pardon in advance. The size is 62cm c-t with 58.5cm top tube, c-c.

This is the same bike as the Masi 3V, which Alberto developed, but couldn't sell in the USA using the Masi marque, thus the Milano brand was born.

The frame was built in Alberto Masi's shop in Italy, and the workmanship is just beautiful. Stamped "314 Milano" logos on head, abstract "M"s carved into top of flat chromed fork crown. Internally lugged with internal top tube cable routing, it has one of the most spectacular pearlized white paint jobs I've ever seen. Components are C-Record brakes (Delta style), dt shifters, rear derailler and hubs with Veloce crank (175mm) and front derailler. 7 speed gearing. Cinelli bars and stem. C-Record hubs are laced to Campy Victory Strada/Crono tubular rims. Excellent tires as well - Vittoria rear and Hutchinson front. Time Racing magnesium pedals. It is in excellent condition, very little use, with nary a scratch. It is slightly too large for me and I need to thin the herd. Rides just like it looks - beautifully.

If this bike fits you, I can guarantee you will enjoy it, money back guarantee. Priced to sell fast at $1000 plus shipping. Email me for more details and pics. Thanks.

And watch this space for more bikes I plan to sell - an early McLean Perfect Pleasure in the next few days. -Dan Borden in Brookline, MA
