Subject: [CR]Campy hub bearing adjustment

Campy hub adjustment: I found that I have to adjust them slightly loose (when they are not clamped), so they are perfect when they are clamped. However, when I take an NOS set out of the box, I find that Campy adjusted them "just right" at the factory, rather than a tad loose. Does anybody know why that is? Mind you, this is not intended as "heresy - Campy criticism" at all - just want to know.

P.S.: There is a special tool that allows adjusting the hub with the axle compressed. I have one. It's nifty. I used old, chopped-off dropouts before.
