Steven- Yes indeed, this is the first generation Record front derailluer. The "cage fixation bolt [nut]" may not be missing as I have seen the bolt "swaged" flat to keep the bolt from coming out. To make an additionally confusing comment, I have seen these bolts have a slotted screw at the other end, instead of the hex-head present on this derailluer and its off spring. Cansomebody tell me if this is truly the first generation record derailleur? Furthermore, is the one being offered not missing the cage fixation bolt?
