CR members:

I purchased this frame from an I-Bob list member who sent it off to Troy Courtney for an extended steerer tube and a new contrasting orange paint job with cream headtube (Troy did a great job with the paint). This Merckx is 1989 SLX with engraved Merckx fork and internal tt cabling.

The seller built the frame up and rode it a couple of times, but it is in great shape (exception is a small scuff on the top tube and some small chips at top of the seat tube and on the edges of the bb shell). Also, the chrome is in good, but not perfect shape, as it was not restored during the painting. Campy dropouts.

Size is 59 c-c (60 c-t) with a 58 top tube. Shimano 600 headset with about 2cm of spacers.

Am selling the frame because it's a bit small for me.

Am asking $600 plus shipping. Pix available on request.
