Thanks to everyone who answered my wailings this morning. I was able to get cable housing from Rodd Heino who it turns out is practically a neighbour. The added bonus is that it seems the braze-on was made to take the finished end of the housing and therefore a step-down ferrule was not needed. I have wired-up the NR der. and everything is moving so smoothly. Thanks all - what a great list!
