What sort of stuns me about this listing (that Lou is bidding on) is that the bike is obviously from ~'83-'84 (based on the SR RD patent date, and the caliper shape, the under BB cables, the shape of the shifter washers, the rims, and the Reynolds 531 decal style) and yet the seller insists on listing it as "Gazelle Champion 54.5cm, SR Campa '70 Vintage", and in the body "An classic Gazelle AB frame 1970 vintage beauty from a period when Gazelle was (still is) one of the worlds largest steel race frame manufactures as a part of TI Raleigh."

Does anyone else find this odd?

As well I find it wild that the frame/fork that Curtis initially mentioned got $278 even though it lacks decals and any lineage.
