I make the stash half hers. Personally I find it much easier to buy parts if I know I'll use them on one of her project bikes even if she doesn't care. Mitzi was a bike rider because of poverty when we first met and I slowly showed her the light of cool old bikes. She prefers pre-war track bikes and the various different internal-hub bikes, the fewer the speeds the better. Someday we'll have the money to buy all the cool bikes we've ever wanted but since we're young we can wait and dream. When I was 24-25 I owned my maximum of 32 bikes with about 75% listworthy, so I've owned some cool ones already. Now is the time to build her collection, it's just too bad so few were made in 48cm.
enjoy,
