Alright! I was waiting for someone to say they're riding a fixed. I rode my fixed gear Frejus last year (on a dawn ride with Lou Deeter and Karen Rawls) and it's not too difficult territory. Rolling hills, but not steep. We did ~12 miles and on a 70" it wasn't bad. This year I'm only bringing my Cinelli with a front brake and a 73" gear.

Let's have the fixed gear contingent get together and have a ride. I plan to ask Chuck for one of his Henri Desgrange* t-shirts.

That started for me when I got home from that last one... ;^)
