Subject: [CR]Colnago pre-club/clover era decals

Hello List<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Just recived some Colnago decals from a fellow list member (thanks again Steven). Need input when dating them. They are "pre club" and consists of two down tube text decals, two seat tube ring decals with world champion stripes and two "MADE IN ITALY" decals.

The DT decals reads "COLNAGO" in a totally different typeface than all other I have seen. High and narrow letters and the "A" is rounded at its top. Letters are white (or yellow - difficult to see thru the paper) and has a black "shadow". Surrounding the white but also the whole letter, including the black is a red border lining.

The ST ring decals has the text "COLNAGO" above the stripes and "CAMBIAGO" below the stripes. Plain thin black letters.

The "MADE IN ITALY" decals are made out of the italian colours and has the text MADE IN ITALY in red block letters in the white field. The fields are horisontal - not like the italian flag who has vertical fields.

Hope someone has some leads on the age. What year did X(?) win the Milan-San Remo and they added the clubs? Has anyone seen the like of these decals or have a bike with theese?

Regards
