I'm looking for a specific sort of donor bike, to complete a somewhat oddball project. I need a complete Nuovo Record bike, from 1971-1977. It must be complete, but thrashed. The parts can be quite well-used--rusted, dinged, scratched, worn, but must still have some miles left on them. They can be very badly thrashed, as long as they still work. Cinelli or 3ttt bars and stem. Brooks Pro or Cinelli Unicanitor saddle. Campagnolo brakes ideal, Universal 61 or others considered. Italian or english threaded. 27.2. Preferably a top road bike, just really ugly. If the frame's a total wreck, bent, cracked, finish gone, whatever, that's ok, as long as all the parts and bits are there, no matter how rough.
I'll pay up to $200 shipped for the right bike. Remember, the more thrashed, the better! Keep an eye out, maybe you'll find one in a dump somewhere, so trashed even YOU don't want it..that's the one for me.
