Eric was wondering if anyone has a good way to store or hang handlebars?

Eric:

Here's what I did: I took a 13" or 14" long section of 2X4 and screwed it to a rafter in my garage. Then I took two pieces of 1X1 lumber (about 2ft long) and screwed&glued the ends to either end of the underside of the 2X4, so they stick out like skis about 14" apart. Then I take each pair of handlebars and slide 'em over the two skis.

It's a first-in/last-out access nightmare, though: if you want the last bar in line, they all have to come down.

I do the same thing with my bikes: I have two 2X4 rails coming out perpendicularly from the garage wall, about 7 or 8 feet off the ground (just high enough for me to reach, so the hood of the car still fits under the whole mess). The rails are spaced about 18" to 20" apart. I slide the top-tube of each bike over the rails. Alternate which way the handlebars face for a better packing factor. Bare frames go against the wall in the space provided by the handlebar of the first built-up bike.
