ill doubly agree with that even if i only saw one - what drool worthy material it was. so much attention to detail and a great eye. i now dream of harden "oppy says" hubs, spinners and clement silks. Between Ken's Holdsworth fixie/path and Chuck Schmidt's pistachio(?) Mercian with bikini lugs i doubt ill see any more mojo, drool worthiness and character unless it has a pulse - maybe not even.

In fact im glad i have hardly gotten to know either man as if i did, and found out they perchance had single daughters id be blowing rent on flowers, chocolate and finally getting my teeth fixed and memorising by heart all of shakepseare's sonnets. im a mug but marrying into either cycling fetishist's dynasty is as i close as i would get to truly classic, noteworthy and important bicycles. im sure messrs. Denny and Schmidt would likely thwart any of my attempts to lessen their gene pool - they're both too savvy.

ditto with Mr. Lebron, Ken im glad your here. your thoughts are great reading, great insight and with lots of pleasing and appropriate tongue in cheek. keep it comming. if it peeves those who have nothing really to say then the list is richer for it.

im on this list to hear and muse on the respected knowledge and wisdom of those who know better than me about old race bikes, granted that is most of the list but one day the knowledge will be still passed on and those bikes will still be ridden. im still collecting my chinese fortune cookies as i know my winning numbers are comming soon. when that happens ill also make a trip to Chester and say "Richard, 30th please, black with red bands and FXXX the expense, i gotta have some chrome - and buy that DOG a bone, ill cover for it".

if this list was a biblical study page all you wise cats would one day be granted sainthood - spread the word. the only priest i ever totally respected succinctly advised me long ago "we are all going to heaven, the best of us will just scrape in". he also mentioned clement seta's and world logo hoods grow on tree's "up there" - ill let you know, dont hold your breath waiting.

what if Kauzo is really God sourcing for our dear departed ciclisti?

thanks all

ciao,
