Howdy, All,

I have a 23" Motobecane Grand Record, probably '73 vintage (based on the derailleurs) with numerous cosmetic and other flaws for sale. These include chipped and oxidized paint, some frame rust, missing decal on the TA Vis Pro (Cyclotourist) crank, rust on the Nuovo Record derailleur bolts, rust on the pedals, missing tension bolt for the Brooks saddle, a missing Weinman brake lever.

I haven't rode it, but the frame looks straight. (I gave a friend a bunch of tires and other parts he needed, he gave me the bike. It's too small for me and needs work.)

Other pluses Campagnolo dropouts, Campy NR derailleurs ('73), Reynolds 531 db frame (uncertain if fork is 531) with Nervex lugs, TA crank. There were now wheels with it, but I'd throw in a set of beat but usable Normandy Luxe hubbed wheels from a UX-10. (Front hub needs rebuilding).

All this mess for $70.00 if you pick it up in Chicago. You could part if out for more. A bit more for packing if you want it shipped plus actual shipping costs.

(It's in storage at a friends and I have been swamped at work & by other things, so if you have questions, it may be a while before I can answer them.)

Regards,

John Taglia Chicago
