May I please ad this to e-richie's comments (below)? If I did not believe that I really did have the best "tool for the job", I don't think I would ride it. If I thought a Seven this or a Calfee that were a better bike, for racing or whatever, I'd own one. Beauty really is more than skin deep. There are few things in life one (I) can afford to own that one can call the "best". For many of us a bicycle affords us this opportunity. If I find a better bike than the lugged steel one that is mine, I'll trade up. Richard Rose (Toledo, Ohio)
