[CR]Re: True Confessions (also a whoops for the previous post)

(Example: Framebuilders:Alex Singer)

I just looked at my previous post, and it is gibberish, so I am reposting (& retyping):

I rode 100 miles over three days this past weekend on a 1975 Richard Sachs. Friday morning I did my favorite 50-mile north-south loop along the river, as southwesterly winds, gentle at first, gusted up during the morning to more than 25 mph. I rode the first 30 miles in less than 90 minutes, but the last 20 miles took more than 90 minutes! Saturday, my wife and I made a 10-mile run south to her favorite bakery for coffee and and a roll. The southwestery winds picked up again on our way back north and gave us a nice push. She was riding a 22 year old Bianchi (which we both ingenuously thought to be a real Bianchi). Sunday, she worked in the garden, so I was off for a 30-miler, sort of a rectangle, with the wind pushing me north for the first seven miles or so, before I turned west and was buffeted by crosswinds, then south into the wind, and back east with the crosswinds again. Wool jersey on Friday, Cotton/Poly on Saturday, and Coolmax on Sunday, all short sleeves. Rain threatened all three days, but held off until late afternoons/early evenings. Sunday night I cleaned the bikes. Monday I went back to work, but I am looking forward to the coming weekend.
