It definitely is not an Oval CX. Like I said before, I've seen two of these models. Unfortunately, they never came with a decal designating a model. Is is definitely not a "one-off" or "prototype" However, it is very uncommon. I do remember someone telling me there were failures with the stems. Again, I am pretty certain that Marcel Calborn had something to do with these.

Yes, there are another couple of points I forgot to mention. The seat post measures just under 24mm, and the stem quill measures about 17.75mm where it

disappears into the headset, as opposed to the regular 22.2. There are no oval tubes, just 4-perf squared off, for the main triangle. Are you guys still thinking this is an Oval CX? It kinda sounds like the time period makes it on topic, or at least borderline, as well. Thanks...
