Hello Everyone,
My name is Tom Adams and I'm from Blandford, Nova Scotia, Canada. For those that know Nova Scotia it is about 30 miles south of Halifax on the beautiful Aspotagan Peninsula. I have an old Holdsworth that I've been riding on and off for the last couple of years and have become interested in restoring it back to it's old self. It was while surfing the net and checking out someone's Holdsworth page that I came across you folks.
I joined the list and have been lurking for a bit but with the encouragement of another canuk, Paul Williams, here I am. I always loved to race and when I was a teen back in the early 70's I rode for the Nova Scotia Canada Games Team. On my 1970 modified to the hilt Mercier I managed a 57 minute TT as a junior and to become hill climbing champ of Nova Scotia twice.
At that age (now 46 and married) I lusted after but never obtained a 1974 Peugeot PX 10 E. This has now become my mission other than restoring the Holdsworth. I hope to make some contacts here and pick some brains. I already feel at home here.
