Can someone tell me if I'm seeing things, or if it's really true that the old splined regina tool will not work with the Regina CX freewheel (I haven't tried an America).
The old tool I have, a Phil tool, which works perfectly on oro splined freewheel bodies, will not fit into the splined body of the CX..it's as if Regina made the diameter of the splined socket ever so slightly smaller when they designed the CX.
I managed to gently tap my tool into a CX sufficiently to get the thing off the wheel involved...but this seems absolutely crazy to me. Why would they have done a thing like that?
