Subject: [CR]Hollow pins

A change of subject, but I swear I could feel the weight difference when I put a Regina hollow pin chain on my Masi, and also a loss in shifting performance. Is a loss of shifting performance with these less than stiff chains a given?

The ubiquitous Sheldon Brown has some information pertaining to chain stiffness phenomenon at his site, testing by Damon Rinard.
